Boogie Tots is making a positive impact in schools, nurseries and the wider community. We receive lovely feedback from everyone who attends, but some of my favourite messages are always from the parents who come to our community classes. Many of them choose to come along because they enjoy it just as much, if not more, than their children, it’s a welcoming dance class for parents and toddlers
That has always been exactly what Boogie Tots is about.
I’m really proud that our classes cater to adults too. That was my main aim when I started. I was that parent who wanted to enjoy a class with my son, not sit at the side watching. When we went to singing at the library or playgroups, I always wanted to join in with him rather than feel like an observer.
This is what Boogie Tots brings to a community. A place where parents and toddlers can be themselves, use their imagination, dance along and let go. We see the same thing when we visit schools and nurseries too. Teachers benefit from it as well, and often tell us the sessions become a real highlight of their day. That feel good factor spreads quickly.
For me, Boogie Tots has never just been about children’s classes. It’s about creating spaces where families feel welcome, confidence grows naturally, and work feels genuinely good to go to.
