Hello everyone, my name is Nina and I’m running the community classes in Sittingbourne and Sheppey

I’ve been dancing since I was 4 years old and teaching dance (Ballet, Tap, street, modern, contemporary, musical theatre and more!!) for many years!

Dance is my passion, it’s what gives me so much joy!

Boogie Tots is a fun, energetic and engaging dance class for walking to 5s and their grown-ups.

Our classes are full of great music, including traditional party dances, action nursery rhymes, your child’s favourite TV themes and catchy pop songs. We also love our music mash-ups, combining pop songs with classic nursery rhymes to create playlists that are fun for all ages.

With our background in holiday park entertainment, we know how to create an atmosphere that feels like a party. Every class is packed with energy, fun and dancing that keeps both children and grown-ups involved from start to finish.

FAQ’S

IS BOOGIE TOTS FOR BABIES?

Boogie Tots community classes are best suited to children that are walking to 5 year olds, however younger and older siblings are always welcome, this is what Kelly said about the classes which she attends with her 9 month old, Polly

“It’s bitter sweet my 4 year old Daisy is now not able to go to Boogie Tots, we have been going since she was 1 and always loved the class! But it was really special this week to take her baby sister Polly! It’s so important to me to have that time for just us! Because of covid we haven’t had much one on one time, so it’s fantastic I can now bring her to Boogie Tots. And she absolutely loves it! Thank you Sammie, a new chapter”

WHERE ARE THE CLASSES HELD?

Our classes are held in community halls, all our halls have car parking, easy access for pushchairs and wheelchairs, they are nice open spaces with toilets in the same space as the halls.

WHAT IF MY CHILD DOESN'T JOIN IN?

This isn’t a problem, at Boogie Tots we try to encourage the children to join in by getting their parents or carers to dance with them, so if you are dancing along hopefully they will too. This is a fun friendly class, we are fully inclusive and welcoming, the most important thing is to have fun and bond with your child, please don’t worry if they are not getting all the moves right, as long as they are moving, smiling and enjoying themselves they will be a success!!

CAN I BRING SIBLINGS?

Yes, siblings are always welcome, there is a charge for additional children. Our classes are best suited to children who are walking up to 5 years old but younger and older siblings are always welcome and we love to see the Boogie Tots who have left us for primary school in the school holidays . Siblings under 1 are free of charge

We have tried a range of activities but Boogie tots hits a wider range of audience and can be done in various ways either dancing or through games such as floor is lava helping motivate our pupils to move more and build on their wellbeing.
